In simple words
The lens inside the eye should be clear, like a clean window. With age, or after injury, that lens can turn cloudy. That cloud is a cataract. Drops cannot wash it away.
We check your eye first. We measure the eye so the new lens has the right power. Then we take out the cloudy lens and put in a clear one. Most people go home the same day.
